Chris Haffenreffer, Vice President of Strategy Development for Enterprise Mobility, is focused on bringing clarity and purpose to broad market themes and disruptive trends that are or will be impacting the industry and Enterprise Mobility over the long-term. In this role, Haffenreffer is responsible for a team of individuals with diverse backgrounds that work to understand and explore macro themes such as electrification, vehicle technology, autonomous vehicles, and mobility. Enterprise Mobility is a leading provider of mobility solutions including car rental, fleet management, flexible vehicle hire, carsharing, vanpooling, truck rental, luxury rental, retail car sales and vehicle subscription, as well as other transportation technology services and solutions, to make travel easier and more convenient for customers. Inclusive of its subsidiaries and franchisees, and affiliate, Enterprise Fleet Management, Enterprise Mobility manages a diverse fleet of 2.3 million vehicles through an integrated network of nearly 9,500 fully staffed neighborhood and airport rental locations in more than 90 countries and territories. Privately held by the Taylor family of Saint Louis, Enterprise Mobility manages the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo brands. Haffenreffer's journey with Enterprise Mobility began in 2016 with its Corporate Development team where he explored and secured investment opportunities for the venture capital arm of the organization and helped to manage mergers and acquisitions. In 2019 he was promoted to Assistant Vice President and had the opportunity to take on a new role, managing innovation activity and strategy with a primary focus on exploring electrification. This work grew into what is now the strategy department, and Haffenreffer's current role as Vice President. Prior to joining Enterprise Mobility, Haffenreffer was at HBM Holdings, a privately held company that acquires and operates middle-market industrial businesses. He received his BA degree in Economics from Dartmouth College and his MBA from The Darden School of Business.
