Boris Kort-Packard is Chief Engineer, Global Vehicles for FedEx where he is facilitating progress to Carbon Neutral Operations by 2040 with focus on 100% total transition to EV PUD vehicles.  As Chief Engineer, he provides vision and analysis to direct world-wide strategic fleet safety innovation and efficiency advances including eCargobikes and EV van design. Actively pursuing safe interconnected global optimization of transportation on-road (PUD) and off (airport GSE), including life-cycle battery innovation, charger (EVSE) standards and innovation, connectivity, wireless charging/MCS (MegaWatt Charging), safety, security, scale infrastructure and energy supply. Fascinated by maximizing performance and efficiency, Kort-Packard worked in the bicycle industry, automotive manufacturing and solar panels prior to joining FedEx in 2017.  Member of SAE, Responsible Battery Coalition Board, ATA TMC (Technology Maintenance Council) MEM and BSME in Engineering and Bachelors in East Asian Studies (Japanese).
