Modal Motors Inc. is the culmination of 25 years of electric motor design and engineering, along with more than $50 Million in previous technology development, resulting in the highest torque density non-rare-earth motors with the highest efficiency over the entire speed range. Our motors do not require exotic materials and, in fact, are designed to utilize no rare-earth magnets, and the copper coils can even be replaced by lighter and more cost-effective aluminum coils. Our direct access air-cooled or liquid-cooled coil motor options are an excellent solution for the highly competitive e-mobility market in land, sea, and air applications or any other applications where performance at low-cost matters.
