Paul Daly | Director Strategic Policy
National Heavy Vehicle Regulator

Since 2021 Paul Daly has been the Director, Strategic Policy of the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) and brings to the position over 20 years working in the regulartory and government sectors, industrial relations and training. With more than a decade of experience in regulating transport and logistics in Australia, Paul has spent the past four years working closely with his team to develop and implement the NHVR's Regulatory Intervention Strategy, the Heavy Vehicle Safety Action Plan and, most recently, the implmentation of the Heavy Vehicle National Law amendments. Prior to taking on the role with the NHVR Paul has worked in the development of rail industry standards and codes of practice, workforce development and training facilitation as well as the industry association sector.
