Lee-Ann Breger | Bid Lead
Future Freight CRC

Lee-Ann Breger, Bid Lead, Future Freight CRC

Lee-Ann’s superpower is building and delivering partnerships and collaborations that deliver value for organisations. Her innate (and somewhat uncanny) ability to spot, connect and nurture opportunities while bringing the right people together to succeed means that collaborative research is the perfect professional habitat for her.

These natural abilities are complemented by solid experience of over 20 years in deploying transformational technologies at some of the largest Australasian public and private institutions, including the Capital Markets Cooperative Research Centre (CRC), Medibank, Australia Post, the Auckland District Health Board and the Auckland Regional Public Health Service.

As part of the foundational team of The Digital Health CRC, Lee-Ann was involved in the successful bid for a $220m, 6-year R&D program. Since 2019 Lee-Ann has been applying her talents with impressive results as the research program head for the iMOVE CRC. Under her watch the R&D program is on track to overdeliver by more than 20% in its ten-year life and has already recruited over 30 new R&D partner-investors for the CRC, many of them first time CRC partners.

Lee-Ann sees the next big opportunity as working with the freight sector to help it transition to a cleaner future and capture the benefits on offer from new technology, energy and advanced data.
