Jirawadee Polprasert | Assistant Dean for Continuing Study and Venture Builder

Dr. Jirawadee Polprasert is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Naresuan University, where she also chairs the Bachelor Program in Electrical Engineering and Assitant Dean for Continuing Study and Venture Builder. With over a decade of experience across academia, research, and industry, she specializes in power systems, smart grid and microgrid technologies, energy optimization, and clean energy innovation. Currently, she serves as an advisor to the Hydrogen Subcommittee on Energy under the Senate Energy Committee of Thailand, contributing to national strategies on hydrogen integration and future energy security. Dr. Polprasert has also served as visiting faculty at the University of Science & Technology of Hanoi and was a research fellow at the University of Tokyo’s Policy Alternatives Research Institute. She holds a Doctorate and Master’s in Energy (Electric Power System Management) from the Asian Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Suranaree University of Technology. A recipient of the IEEE PES Outstanding Young Engineer Award 2022, she is also the IEEE PES Day Country Representative (2021–2025) and a certified innovation leader through multiple national-level executive programs.
