Mahmoud Madi is the Head of Asset Management (EAM/CMMS) at RATP Dev Mobility Cairo, supporting major rail and metro operations including Cairo Metro Line 3 (Green Line) and the 10th of Ramadan LRT (Capital Train). He is an asset management and maintenance engineering professional with 8+ years of experience across large-scale rail/metro and infrastructure projects in the Middle East. Mahmoud has extensive GCC experience, having supported Riyadh Metro Lines 1 and 2, where he played a key operator-side role in IBM Maximo deployment, CMMS data governance, and maintenance readiness. He specialises in enterprise asset management, digital maintenance transformation, and asset lifecycle optimisation, with a strong focus on integrating AI-, IoT-, and condition-monitoring data to improve asset performance and lifecycle cost control. At Middle East Rail 2026, Mahmoud will share operator-led insights from Cairo and Riyadh Metro projects, focusing on how data-driven asset management supports reliability, efficiency, and long-term sustainability in urban rail systems.
