3rd Rock Renewables focuses on innovative solutions to minimize landfill waste including a patented process called Mechanical Concrete.  This approach to construction is less expensive than traditional sub-bases, faster to build, doesn't require water, and saves over 75% on maintenance since the process virtually eliminates potholes, road edge erosion, and rutting.  It is more durable than traditional sub-bases (up to 200 psi depending on the aggregate used) and works with asphalt, concrete, or aggregate top surfaces.  And every acre uses approximately 7,000 cylinders or 35 tons of waste that would otherwise go to landfill.   The TCEQ approves it and is environmentally safe near or even under water.
