Eng Lim is currently the Director of Infrastructure Services in Quilpie Shire Council, in south west Queensland.  As an experienced multi award-winning strategic engineering leader with strong transport, urban planning, risk mitigation and more recently emergency and water management working for both public and private sectors across 3 continents: Australia, Middle East, India, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.

His diverse experience includes managing various infrastructure projects including land acquisition and privatisation of tolled highways, strategic planning and large township master planning, public transport and bus priority studies, road safety, parking, traffic management, transport modelling, environmental studies, waste and resource recovery, axle load studies, traffic operations/traffic management centre and research into traffic signage. With a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering infrastructure projects, he enjoys collaborating effectively with stakeholders, contractors, and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. He is focused on implementing sustainable and innovative solutions that enhance the quality of life for residents and support the economic growth of the region. Eng's participation in Highways AU 2025, Roads for a Connected Future, is a testament to his commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends and best practices.
