Electricite Du Liban

 El Dobeissy Ramzi is an expert in the High Voltage electric power systems and networks, and the integration of renewable energy into the grid.

 He is the Head of HV Transmission Networks Department in “Electricite Du Liban” since 2008 and the head of Master Plan Committee for Generation and transmission 2020-2030.

He is the head of EDL team in the Mediterranean Transmission System Operators “Med-TSO” Located in Rome Italy, and a member of the Electricity Working Group of the Mediterranean Energy Regulators “MED-REG”.
He is a Previous Representative of the Lebanese Republic in the Energy Commission in ESCWA / United Nations in Beirut between 2013 and 2016.

He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the National Research University Moscow Power Engineering Institute “Developing methods for choosing the composition of generation of the Power Grid of the Lebanese Republic
with Renewable Energy Sources”, and holds a Master Degree in Electric Power Systems and Networks. 
  
He joined the Renewables Academy “RENAC” in Berlin / Germany in 2013.

He is trained and certified by the World Bank on Public–Private Partnership, October 2014.

He had published several articles related to the assessment of the potential for power deficit reduction using renewable energy sources and the functioning of a deficit power grid on the example of Lebanon.

He presented several lectures in the domain of power transmission and renewable energy integration.
