Using his background in Green Technologies and Project Management, Dr. Moustafa mixed professional with academic achievements. He worked over 3 jobs; won two different scholarships, two international awards and published more than 14 research articles at highly-ranked journals.
He worked for 11 years in project management at the Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company (ECHEM), Egypt in petrochemical industry and energy projects development and management. This experience solidifies his knowledge in managing green projects.
He had about 16 years’ experience in green chemistry research. Throughout this period, he won Scientists for Next Generations (SNG) master scholarship from The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT), Egypt and CAS President's International Fellowship Initiative (PIFI) for Ph.D. study in chemical engineering at Institute of Process Engineering (IPE), the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) which is the highest worldwide- ranked research institution.
Dr. Moustafa received the best international student Award at from (CAS), and won the best poster Award at the International Conference on Green Manufacturing (ICGB 2019, Beijing). He is a reviewer for some international well known reports , such as RENEWABLES GLOBAL STATUS REPORT. He is now also working on his own startups.
