Susiku I. Nasinda, Financial Management Specialist - Multilateral Projects, Rural Electrification Authority

Susiku I. Nasinda is an award winning Chartered Accountant (CA), Renewable Energy & Climate Finance Expert, and Duke Certified Project Manager (DCMP) with 10 years post qualifying work experience in the energy sector in Zambia and Sub Saharan Africa.

He is renowned for leading financial management operations on complex, multi-million dollar green energy projects funded by multilateral/ bilateral institutions such as The World Bank, SIDA, USAID, AfDB.

His expertise includes Renewable Energy & Climate Finance, Project Finance, PPPs, Investment Appraisal, Financial Modeling, Project Management, Procurement & Contract Management, and Risk & Compliance.

Susiku currently works at Financial Management Specialist at the Rural Electrification Authority in Zambia. In this role, he oversees all financial operations on the US$37m World Bank Funded Zambia Electricity Services Access (ESAP) project.

Susiku holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Development Finance from Stellenbosch Business School, South Africa. He is also a Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA), UK, and holds a Master Certificate in Project Management from Duke University, USA.

Additionally, Susiku is a Certified Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) with Corporate Finance Institute (CFI).

In 2023, Susiku participated a panel discussion at the 2023 Solar and Future Energy show in Sandton, South Africa. He was also a delegate to COP28, UAE. 

He speaks on renewable energy, project finance, leadership, public policy, the macro economy, sustainability, and climate change.
