Director of Consulting & Strategy - Ogi Williams BA Psychology, MA International Studies, PGDip   Ogi has been with IOA for a decade and has extensive experience in research, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, project management and reporting. His research experience has covered the majority of the African continent, with numerous projects focused on market expansion and industry/sector trend analysis. Ogi has managed research teams in the data gathering and analysis processes in various multi-country research projects, including recent commercial landscape assessments, opportunity assessments, industry research and competitor intelligence.   Specifically related to the energy sector, Ogi has worked closely with various IOA clients in assessing markets of interest and/or current operation. His involvement pertaining to the sector spans some 30 markets across the continent with on-the-ground knowledge of the energy space. The work executed within these markets have covered various touchpoints of interest to stakeholders including political, social and economic environments of operation, energy policy and strategy planning, regional influences, and legal landscape assessments of the sector. Ogi has worked with clients in providing support on facets revolving around energy sources such as oil and gas, hydrogen, geothermal, nuclear, renewables, and wind among others. He has actively also written on the topic during his tenure and has also spoken on previous occasions at various seminars, conferences and in the media on the topic at hand.   His other work has focused on aspects of the banking, legal, mining, youth and education sectors amongst others, and he continues to be involved in various facets of research and analysis regarding developing markets in Africa.
