Chairperson from December 2020 till March 2023 and actual Chief Executive Officer as from April 2023 of the Mauritius Renewable Energy Agency (MARENA), Danen has extensive experience and expertise in management, engineering, business development, commercial strategies, investment, change and people management. He has worked for large conglomerates and blue chips companies both at international and national level. Besides his professional commitments, he is very active at community level as a member of the Lions Club Port Louis Doyen. He is holder of a Master in Business Administration and a Master in Industrial Systems Engineering. He also holds a degree in Aeronautics and a diploma in Maintenance and Industrial Automation.
