MODULTRAX™ (Modular Utility Transport – All Terrain) is a Product Startup based on MPS (Mimicry, Process, and System) research at DEMAND (Design-based Technology & Manufacturing) laboratory in FSRD, ITB (Institut Teknologi Bandung), developed by Dr. Bismo Jelantik Joyodiharjo, S.Sn., M.Ds. 
Starting with academic research in 2021 with the output of the V1 prototype, Modultrax V2 created in 2023 and received an award International Good Design Award in Tokyo, Japan. MODULTRAX™ V2M has been implemented in 3T Matotonan Village, Siberut Island, for utility purposes and disaster mitigation with energy sources from solar power plants at the location of Mentawai Island. 
After innovation and implementation, the research will focus on the downstream process of startup in Modultrax V3 program. Multi-disciplinary collaborations between researchers, students, and industry partners, aim to make the science of Product Design play an active role in the domestic industrial ecosystem, creating jobs and increasing resilience to design-based innovation.
