Sindisiwe Shozi is a Professional Engineer and Chief Engineer: Advanced Metering at eThekwini Municipality, with extensive experience in power systems, smart metering, and energy infrastructure. She is a certified PMP and GCC (Factories) holder, bringing strong expertise in project delivery, utility modernisation, and data-driven energy planning. An active leader in the engineering sector, Sindisiwe serves on the 7th Term Governing Council of the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and is a recognised contributor to the Just Energy Transition dialogue. She is also a 2024 AMEU Best Paper Award winner, reflecting her thought leadership in the evolving energy landscape. Currently an MBA candidate at GIBS, Sindisiwe is passionate about innovation, continuous learning, and empowering others within the engineering profession. She is committed to advancing sustainable, resilient, and inclusive energy systems in South Africa and across the continent.
