Priscilla is the Founder and Chief Executive of an award winning renewable energy social enterprise, Wala Ltd, which helps farmers increase their income and improve their livelihoods through the adoption of renewable energy technologies to increase their productivity. As a young professional leading the clean energy transition in Africa, Priscilla has won a Rising Energy Leaders Award by EEP Africa. In both 2024 and 2025, Priscilla was voted the Female Energy Personality of the Year by the Energy Sector of Malawi. She was part of the first Youth Core Advisory Panel to the National Planning Commission of Malawi and has been a key constituent in the development and implementation of MW2063. Priscilla Chairs various platforms, including the Circular Economy Wing for Malawi for G100: Mission Million, and the Renewable Energy Industry Association of Malawi’s PURE Technical Working Group. Outside of her work in the renewable energy sector, Priscilla led the creation of the first women only Rotary Club in Malawi, and was its Charter President during the club’s first two years. Among other high impact projects which she led during her Presidential tenure, she mobilized funding and led the creation of a scholarship for girls studying STEAM subjects at universties in Malawi worth millions of USD. She has been recognised as one of 100 inspiring women in Malawi by Wealth Magazine. Before becoming a full time entrepreneur, Priscilla spent over a decade successfully delivering projects for international development organizations like the UN at the global, regional and national levels.
