Mogale Modisane (Pr.Eng) is a Senior Technical Manager at ACWA Power, where he leads the technical and commercial development of large-scale renewable and flexible energy projects across Southern Africa. His work spans solar PV, wind, battery energy storage, hybrid systems, and thermal generation, supporting projects from early-stage origination through competitive bidding, financial close, and delivery. A registered Professional Engineer, Mogale combines deep technical expertise with strategic insight in project finance, grid integration, and infrastructure development. Prior to joining ACWA Power, he held senior technical roles at ENGIE, contributing to the development and delivery of utility-scale solar projects across the region. Mogale holds a Master of Management in Energy Leadership from the Wits Business School and is a Future Energy Leader with the World Energy Council. Recognised as one of the Mail & Guardian Top 200 Young South Africans, he is passionate about advancing Africa’s energy transition through innovation, collaboration, and sustainable infrastructure development.
