Since 2020, Léa has been a pivotal figure in the renewable energy sector, serving as a Senior Business Developer and Project Manager for ENGIE's renewable business line in South Africa. With a focus on innovative and sustainable solutions, Léa has been instrumental in spearheading the development of ENGIE's solar and wind energy pipeline. Léa's expertise in the renewable energy sector is evident in her significant contributions to the development, bidding, and signing of three major solar projects in the BW5 tender. These projects underscore her ability to manage complex renewable energy initiatives from conception through to successful implementation. In addition to her project management successes, Léa has also demonstrated exceptional skill in the realm of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). She successfully led the M&A transaction for BTE. Currently, Léa is the integration manager for this project, overseeing a critical phase that encompasses the integration of assets, pipeline, and personnel. Before joining ENGIE, Léa honed her skills in acquisition, investment, and financial advisory within the energy services sector. At CI2E, a subsidiary of GDF Suez Energie Services, she excelled in financial modeling and project financing, handling a portfolio of urban heating projects. Her role at COFELY Réseaux further showcased her expertise in business plan validation, financing dossier management, and consultancy in urban heating. Léa's tenure at GDF SUEZ Energie Services was marked by her adeptness in structuring and executing project financing, where she managed complex transactions from initiation to closing. This diverse experience laid a solid foundation for her success at ENGIE.
