Devaksha Maharaj is the Founder and Managing Director of Ikigai Engineering a multi-faceted consultancy specialising in Energy Management Advisory, Renewable Energy Technologies, and Electrical Maintenance and Installation Services. She leads Unnati Training Academy NPC, a non-profit focused on skills development in the Energy and Water sectors. A registered Professional Engineer with ECSA, she holds a BSc (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from UKZN and multiple certifications from the Association of Energy Engineers and the Green Building Council of SA. She serves on several advisory panels, including the Gender Advisory Council.
