Edward Douglas, Partner, Armstrong Asset Management

Edward is a Partner and Head of Investments at Armstrong Asset Management, a private equity fund manager which provides growth capital to renewable energy businesses in South East Asia. 
He has 26 years’ experience in the energy sector and has lived and worked in Asia since 2000. Following 12 years in power plant engineering with Alstom and Siemens, he moved progressively into roles focused on the development and financing of green field energy projects. Since 2012, Armstrong has closed equity investments in more than 15 solar, wind and hydro power projects in the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia. 
He is a Chartered Engineer and holds a BSc Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dundee and an MBA from Imperial College, London.
