Jovito Anito Jr. is currently completing his PhD in Science Education – Physics at the De La Salle University Manila, where he also finished his Masters Degree in Teaching Physics. He currently holds the research associate position at the José Rizal University Mandaluyong City and Training Director of the A&A Knowledge Base Research Consultancy and Training. He is also an Asst. Professorial Lecturer at the graduate school of Science Education Department of De La Salle University Manila. Mr. Anito has been engaged in several funded research projects in various capacities. He was one of the core-researchers of the recently completed CHED-funded project “TPACK in Philippine STEAM Education”. Currently, he leads a team of researchers at José Rizal University in a project “Reengineering the José Rizal University Learning Ecosystem”. Mr. Anito has been with a team of researchers and academics from various universities in the country promoting the conduct of educational action research among teacher practitioners both from basic and higher education. He has been in various regions in the country conducting trainings on action research and qualitative research methodology. Mr. Anito has published articles in Scopus- and ISI-indexed journals on Science Education and Practices of Qualitative Research. His most recent Publications include the Development and Validation of a Proficiency Questionnaire for Science, Technology, Engineering, Agri-Fisheries, and Mathematics (STEAM) Educators with the Philippine Journal of Science and the Framework for the Reengineering of Philippine STEAM Education with the Universal Journal of Educational Research.
