Emie, as she is fondly called, is currently one of the Institutional Education Technology Coordinators of De La Salle Santiago Zobel School in Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa City. She also teaches Social Studies to Senior High School Students. She finished her undergraduate studies in Social Sciences and graduate studies in Asian Studies at the University of the Philippines. She was also fortunate enough to receive a fellowship program on Korean Language, Society and Culture at Sogang University, Seoul, South Korea under the Korea Foundation. She has also been certified by Microsoft as an Innovative Educator Expert for all her Blended Learning initiatives in her classes and her unit. She was also nominated by Microsoft Philippines as an Educator Ambassador for training educators on teaching with technology. Seeing the relevance of Digital Citizenship in the education sector, she works with the Lasallian Formation and Mission Department to promote “iThink: a Lasallian Digital Citizenship Campaign” to students, faculty and administrators of the institution.
