Dr. Maria-Cristina Ciocci, manager of DCS, sets out the guidelines, objectives of DCS and is responsible for coordinating the different projects. She is a mathematician, maker, upcycler, idea machine, .... Her fiery passion for science and technology led from her academic career to the founding of Ingegno (ingegno.be). She is co-founder and manager of non-profit association De Creatieve STEM (decreatievestem.be), board member of EASE (European Association of STEAM Educators, ease-educators.com) and co-founder of Bulb vzw (bulb.gent), a creative community with the motto Shaping Creative Minds. She is member of the STEM-platform Vlaanderen, an independent advice organ for the Flemish government. Cristina speaks fluent Italian, Dutch, English and Spanish, and she has a good understanding of French. --
