Born in 1977 and attended the University of Maribor. Finished undergraduate study of English and German languages and started working as a primary school teacher in 2001. Became a headmaster in 2013 and became involved in analysing, researching, questioning and possibly improving all aspects of school work. The main idea that guides these efforts is well-being of students and staff in a safe and productive environment that promotes diversity and inclusiveness as well as creating an open environment for new ideas and practices which focus on academic and personal growth, digital and reading competences, environmentalism and volunteering. Making the educational experience fun, multi-sensory, involved and practical is the greatest challenge facing us whereby structure, values and more traditional teaching practices and model need to be included into schoolwork as well.
