Archibald Koblah Awudi was born in Accra on the 8th May 1956. He attended Tarkwa Secondary School where he obtained his O’ Level in 1976 and the A’ Level in 1978.
Attended the University of Cape Coast from 1979 to 1984 obtained BSc degree in Physics and a Diploma in Education.
He joined Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority in 1986 as a Traffic Officer. Rose through the Ranks, he became a Stevedore Manager, Cargo Handling Manager, Container Depot Manager and in 2002 he was appointed the Port Personnel Administrative Manager and in 2006 he was transferred to the Headquarters of the Authority as Corporate Planning Manager for four years. In 2010 was transferred to the Tema Fishing Harbour as the Operations Manager until July 2014 was transferred to the Security Department as Security Manager.
Archibald Koblah Awudi has attended Port Operations and Manager Courses in Liverpool, in the UK, Le Havre, Nante in France, the USA and some African Cities (Luanda, J’berg, Alexandra and Casa balanca.)
In 1993 he attended the University of Wales, Cardiff to study International Transport which he obtained an MSc degree (MSc International Transport. He is a member of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK and Ghana). MCILT Archibald Koblad Awudi lecturer at the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority Training School in Port Operations and other related Port subjects.
