In her current role, she undertakes high-stakes negotiations between governments and commercial players in the healthcare sector and provides advice and advocacy to ensure the Australian healthcare system is both sustainable and effective. She also plays a role to ensure the health insurance sector can play its rightful role as a leader driving transformation of Australian healthcare to better serve the needs of the consumer. She is a medical doctor that started her career working in public and private hospitals. In addition to her medical qualifications, she has an MBA and has done postgraduate studies in economics.
