Ryan Ang, Director of Regional Business Development, IMA (Institute of Management Accountants)

Ryan Ang is the current Director of Regional Partner Relations for Southeast Asia at the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).  His IMA role includes the development of the CMA exam program in the Southeast Asia and Australasia regions.
Prior to joining the management accounting industry, Ryan was the Head of Product Management and Marketing at one of the top schools in Singapore for almost 10 years.  In that role, he worked with government regulators and universities from the United Kingdom, U.S.A, France, Australia, and Singapore to develop post-graduate, under-graduate, diploma and certificate courses in accounting, finance, banking, and other disciplines.   During this time, Ryan also launched English language prep courses for international students in Singapore.
Since 2009, Ryan has helped to develop the localized curriculum and content for doctorate, master’s, and bachelor’s courses for Grenoble School of Business (Triple-crown university in France), Bangor University (U.K), University of Sunderland (U.K), Teesside University (U.K) and Southern Cross University (Australia).  He also worked closely with the Uzbekistan government and the Uzbekistan Banking Association to launch one of their country’s first international university which specializes in accounting, finance, and banking. 
Ryan is an alumnus of University of South Australia, where he was awarded the Chancellor’s Letter of Recommendation as the top student of his graduating cohort in 2003.
