Irene (Eirini) Mavroudi is a PostDoctoral Researcher at the Haemopoiesis Research Laboratory, School of Medicine, University of Crete. She graduated as a Chemist and obtained a Master on Molecular Basis of Human Diseases and a PhD in Immunology/Haematology from the University of Crete. Her career is oriented in the haematology and stem cell fields, including basic and clinical research, teaching and administration. She’s been recently appointed as the Quality Unit Supervisor of the newly founded Public Cord Blood Bank of Crete in the University Hospital of Heraklion, Crete, Greece.
