Dr. Mudassar Iqbal Arain is a researcher in clinical research, pharmacovigilance, and patient safety, currently affiliated as Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW). His research focuses on adverse drug reaction (ADR) reporting, patient engagement in pharmacovigilance, medication safety/adherence, and the responsible integration of artificial intelligence into healthcare. Mudassar has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has presented his research at national and international conferences. His work aims to improve drug safety systems by addressing barriers to patient reporting and promoting patient-centered approaches to pharmacovigilance.
