Marta Słomka is a healthcare professional currently serving as the Deputy Director of the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Department at the Polish Health Technology Assessment and Tariff System Agency (AOTMiT). In this role, she oversees departmental operations, drives strategic initiatives, and manages team performance to ensure the effective delivery of organizational objectives. She holds a PhD in Innovation in Medicine, which provides a strong foundation for her leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise. As a strategic partnerships and market access leader with more than 14 years of experience across the pharmaceutical, MedTech, public, and industry sectors, she operates at the intersection of health technology assessment (HTA), health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), market access, reimbursement, and health policy. Marta’s experience spans the entire healthcare access pathway—from evidence generation and HTA assessment through pricing and reimbursement strategy to policy development, stakeholder engagement, and strategic partnerships. She has worked both within public institutions and leading life sciences companies, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of how healthcare value is assessed. Her expertise includes health policy, reimbursement processes, stakeholder collaboration, healthcare innovation, and the development of evidence-based solutions that support patient access to effective healthcare technologies.
