Dr Natalia Bednarska, PhD, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine

Dr. Natalia G. Bednarska is currently a Research Fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where she has been a faculty member since 2014. Her current research involves vaccine development, protein glycosylation and host-pathogen interactions at Professor Dr. Wren lab, within the Deaprtment of Pathogen Molecular Biology. She obtained her B.Sc. degree in Infectious Diseases from Edinburgh University, (Scotland) followed by a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology at University of Leuven (KUL) where she worked on a development of new antimicrobials. She acquired her postdoctoral Immunology research experience at Professor Dr. John Lambris Laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn), where she worked on new complement inhibitors.
