Marwan Abdulla Bin Dalmook has over 17 years’ experience in the telecommunications and information technology industry. He is an inspirational leader with a passion for innovation in the managed services space and the emerging IoT industry. Beginning his career in 2000, Marwan joined the Dubai Internet City Project, the objective of which was to build Dubai’s advanced internet & telecommunication infrastructure. Marwan joined du’s technology division in 2006, where he co-established and also led TSRM, du’s information security department. Marwan’s affinity for innovation led to the conceptualization and establishment of du’s anaged services operations, an agile business enabler to support du’s short and long term growth plans. In addition to being responsible for leading and directing du’s managed services operations, Marwan was selected to drive du’s Smart City and Smart Government initiatives, an endeavour that aims in transforming Dubai to the happiest city in the world by 2020. Some of Marwan’s career achievements include; establishing du’s Technology Security Risk Management Department, launching Dubai’s advanced internet & telecommunication infrastructure and managing du’s Smart City initiatives. Marwan holds a higher diploma in Business Information Technology from the Higher Colleges of Technology in the UAE.
