Renowned for his innovation-driven leadership and executive counsel, he's instrumental in steering sustainable growth. Currently, as Group Strategy Advisor at stc Group, Mahmoud closely collaborates with top leadership, providing pivotal guidance on AI and emerging tech for sustainable growth. In his prior role as Advisor to the CEO at stc Bahrain, he spearheaded strategic initiatives and led digital infrastructure development, including pioneering a carbon-neutral hyper-scale data center. Notably, at Telekom Malaysia, Mahmoud served as Chief Marketing & Partnership Officer, offering strategic insights to senior executives and the board. His leadership drove strategic initiatives across critical areas like Data Centres, Cloud Services, 5G, smart cities, cybersecurity, and IoT. With a 16-year tenure at Cisco, Mahmoud held various international leadership roles, enriching his expertise across developed and developing markets. Mahmoud holds an Engineering Degree in Telecommunications from Telecom ParisTech and has a rich multicultural background, having lived in Morocco, France, USA, Switzerland, Malaysia and Maldives before relocating to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
