Chris Engle, Chief Customer Officer, Plusgrade

Chris is the Chief Customer Officer for Plusgrade, the global ancillary revenue leader in travel. Chris plays a pivotal role in spearheading the acquisition of new partners across the globe in the rail, air, and cruise industries. His leadership and industry thought leadership have been instrumental in expanding Plusgrade's footprint and establishing it as a powerhouse in the travel sector. Prior to joining Plusgrade, Chris was a key leader at Travelport. As the head of Travelport's Americas Air Commerce business, Chris’ team grew Travelport’s airline revenue and led the introduction of enhanced merchandising tools for Airlines throughout the Americas.  Prior to Travelport, Chris has also held key positions with industry players such as Sabre, American Airlines, and ACS/Xerox, where he managed and led the travel outsourcing portfolio. Chris holds a degree from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington in Seattle. His global perspective extends beyond business, as he became fluent in Portuguese while living in Brazil during his tenure as Vice President of ACS Revenue Synergy. Currently residing on Shelter Island, in New York, Chris thrives on bridging the gap between innovation and customer satisfaction. With his unwavering dedication, vast experience, and bilingual capabilities, he is driving Plusgrade's mission to revolutionize the travel industry, one exceptional customer experience at a time.
