Peter has extensive operating experience at board level, underpinned by business development and commercial expertise gained throughout a successful and progressive career within the logistics, rail and consultancy/interim management sectors.
He has gained significant experience working with senior local and central government bodies delivering major capital programmes in the UK (most recently as Metrolink Director in Manchester with responsibility for the day to day operation and the delivery of a £1.8bn capital programme) and overseas in addition to holding full P&L responsibility whilst leading the evolution and development of effective change in a variety of large, complex operational environments.
Peter has provided leadership in migration/transition planning, merger planning and organisation design in a variety of LRT and Metro assignments in the UK and abroad and has been a senior figure in other consultancy projects including operations and commercial analysis roles for DfT, a variety of LRT and Metro assignments in the UK and abroad and several major rail bids.
