I have been operating in the role of Head of Fleet Management of Irish Rail since 2010, with responsibility for maintenance and reliability of all IE fleets, fleet and occupational safety, and financial responsibility for all fleets.
 
I have responsibility for 5 maintenance depots and 3 Platform Support locations nationally with an overall workforce of over 300 staff.
 
The fleets consist of a mix of 600 passenger vehicles (mix of EMU/ DMU/ Carriage), 40 locomotives and 235 Freight Wagons
 
Prior to this, my roles were:

•        Depot Manager, Drogheda for 4 years.
•        Project Manager new fleet acquisitions, including 29000 DMU and MKIV carriages

 
I have a BENG (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering, and MSc in Manufacturing Systems Engineering.
