Currently member of the UITP Light Rail Committee as one of the two representatives from Spain. From 1988 to 2000 he worked with different Engineering Companies in international railway projects: Germany, Hong Kong, California. Since 2000 he is the Managing Director of the company METROPOLITANO de TENERIFE SA being responsible for the design, financial structure, tendering, construction and operation of the Light Rail network in the metropolitan area of Tenerife. He is also responsible for the Planning and development of two Railway Lines with 80+40Km long around the Island.
