Vikas Gupta | Director Of Clinical Strategy

Dr. Gupta is currently Director of Clinical Strategy for BD Insights Life Sciences and has been with BD and legacy companies for over 22 years. He completed his general clinical pharmacy residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and was a pharmacotherapist in internal medicine and HIV Clinic at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Illinois, College of Pharmacy in Chicago before joining BD. He has also been Clinical Pharmacy Manager at different hospitals and has built pharmacy formularies and developed/managed antimicrobial stewardship programs in both academic and non-academic settings. He now leads research on antimicrobial use/resistance and related outcomes studies using the electronically available data in the BD Insights national dataset and has published and collaborated with the CDC DHQP team on several projects and related manuscripts.
