Teresa Hauguel, Program Officer, National Institute of Health - NIAID

Dr. Teresa Hauguel is a Program Officer at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), where she manages the influenza pathogen biology grant portfolio. She is also a Project Officer for the Collaborative Influenza Vaccine Innovation Centers (CIVICs), a program created by NIAID to develop more durable, broadly protective, and longer-lasting influenza vaccines. Prior to joining NIAID in 2011, Dr. Hauguel was a Presidential Management Fellow at the NIH, working in different institutes and offices to develop expertise in program management, science policy, and communications. Dr. Hauguel received her B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh and her Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Virginia.
