Kim C. Bush is a senior global healthcare executive with a successful track record of building and leading multiple healthcare businesses in the private sector as well as developing strategic alliances and partnerships in Global Health.

Mr. Bush spent six years as the Director of Life Sciences Partnerships and as a Senior Advisor for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation based in Seattle, Washington. His primary efforts concentrated on creating and advancing deeper and broader partnerships with multinational pharmaceutical companies, the biotech industry, developing country vaccine manufacturers, Global Health NGOs, and public/private enterprises in order to achieve innovative high impact global health outcomes.

He joined the Foundation in 2011 after a 33-year career at Baxter International where he led several therapeutic and medical device businesses including Baxter’s global Vaccine, Blood Therapy, and European Bio-Science divisions.

He currently chairs the External Advisory Council for the Office of Research and Engagement at the University of Tennessee.  In addition, he is an independent director on the board of the Research Investment for Global Health Technology Fund (RIGHT), and he also provides LLC based advisory services for multiple healthcare related enterprises.
