Vaccine Development Center

The Vaccine Development Center at West Virginia University is housed within the School of Medicine. The Center aims to support vaccine research projects, facilitate training the next generation of scientists and physicians, and serve as the interface between academic research and industrial partners that will lead to economic development. The center is currently pursuing vaccines and therapeutics for Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bordetella pertussis, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Serratia marcescens, Burkholderia spp. and others. The Center actively seeks industry partners and collaborations for current and new projects.
