Anthony Lark

Born in Sydney, Anthony travelled to Europe for a gap year after school with his family after which he took a job as a busboy in a 5-star Sydney hotel, while studying Architectural drafting at college.
That cemented his love for the business, and he gave up his studies to become a full time staff member at Sydney's 5-star Wentworth hotel, spending 4 years training in every area of the hotel operation.
Joining Regent Hotels prior to the opening of The Regent Sydney (Noe Four Seasons) in 1982, he first experienced the true nature of 5-star luxury and in 1988 at 27 years old, Anthony was employed by Adrian Zecha to open Amanpuri, the first Amanresort, as it’s General Manager.
His love for Asian hospitality, design and people all came together on the magical Island of Phuket, running Amanpuri and opening 4 other Amanresorts properties as General Manager in Bali and Burma over 12 years.
In 2000, Anthony left Amanresorts to join Montara Hospitality Group, where he co-designed, developed and opened Trisara, which included the sale of the 30 villas to private owners from around the world.
In the 10 years since its opening in 2004, Trisara has become the market leader in the upper-scale luxury segment on Phuket.
Anthony is now working on development the next Trisara and a number of white-label management deals in the pipeline.
Anthony is married and has 4 sons.
