AJICAP®: Site-specific ADC conjugation and linker technology that requires neither genetic modifications nor enzymes. Ajinomoto developed an innovative "chemical" site-selective conjugation method of Fc moiety in intact antibody. This technology provides significant advantages for next generation ADCs; 1) Straightforward CMC - Direct modification of intact antibody. - No genetic modification / no enzyme required, 2) Enhancement of Therapeutic Window compared to stochastic ADCs - Site specific DAR 1, 2, 4 or higher and Dual Payload are available, 3) Wide drug-linker compatibility: reactive group compatibility including thiol and azide. 4) High yields, short conjugation reaction times, ease to manufacture.
