Marc Abromovitz, Head, Industrial Hygiene, Novartis

Marc has over 30 years of Health, Safety and Environment experience including 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry at Novartis, Johnson and Johnson and GlaxoSmithKline. 

Marc’s primary responsibility at Novartis Pharmaceutical is to establish a risk based data driven decision making process for their Occupational Hygiene Program. 

Marc received his B.S. degree in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh and his M.S. degree from the University of Massachusetts, School of Public Health. He is Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and an active member of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE) where he was a contributor to the Risk MAPP and SMEPAC guidelines.
