Dr Lee Dawson, Scientist, Molecular Pathology Group, Asterand Bioscience

During a 13 year association with King’s College London, Lee worked as a teaching technician, primarily involved in practical teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacology students. As a researcher in the neurodegenerative disease group Lee gained numerous publications studying potential Parkinson’s Disease treatments and received a BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences from the University of Westminster. Lee has been with Asterand Bio since 2004, primarily part of the Functional Pharmacology group, and since 2008 as a mainstay of the Molecular Pathology group. Lee currently drives Asterand Bio’s IHC, in particular multiplex chromogenic IHC, and tissue microarray (TMA) offerings.
