Tony Ryan has almost 30 years of experience providing commercial and legal services to the real estate and hotel and tourism industries across the Asia Pacific region.  He provides strategic and practical advice, assisting clients to grow their local and international businesses through both corporate and asset acquisitions. 

Ryan Lawyers was established in Sydney during 2004 and extended its presence into Asia by opening an office in Singapore mid 2012.  Tony is based in Singapore, working across the Asia Pacific region.  His experience encompasses hotel and resort development, sales, acquisitions and financing; hotel management and franchising agreements; mixed-use projects, which have included some or all of the commercial, residential, hotel and transport facilities in South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, China, Australia and New Zealand; Inbound investment into Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific; and capital raising and fund structuring.

Tony speaks regularly at industry conferences in Asia and Australia and is the retained lawyer and adviser for the Property Council of Australia and Tourism & Transport Forum – The peak bodies for the property and tourism industries in Australia.  In February 2013, Tony was appointed as Chairman of the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust.

Tony holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney and is admitted as a Lawyer in New South Wales (1984).  He is also a Graduate of the Advanced Management Programme at the Hotel School of Cornell University, USA (1999).
