After several years in federal politics as advisor in the German Bundestag, I took the step to represent the interest of municipal companies in 2021. The interface between municipalities and economic entities was already a key area of work in parliament. At the German Association of Local Public Utilities of municipally determined infrastructure undertakings and economic enterprises, Verband kommunaler Unternehmen e. V. (VKU), I work as a consultant on political and regulatory issues in the telecommunications sector. My focus is on the expansion of fiber optics in the municipalities and thus in whole Germany.
