Vish Iyer is the President of Tata Consultancy Services for Asia Pacific geography based in Singapore, responsible for managing TCS businesses across 12 countries in Asia Pacific including Australia, Japan, China, Hong Kong, ASEAN countries and South Korea. TCS Asia Pacific has a revenue of $1 billion and has many ‘national champions’ across Banking, Airlines, Telecom, Retail industries in its customer portfolio. Over 20 000 TCSers serve Asia Pacific customers. The region also provides services to its global customers out of services delivery centers in China and the Philippines.

Vish has held key corporate roles in TCS prior to taking charge of Asia Pacific region. As VP and Head of Corporate Strategy and member of Strategy Think Tank, he drove several initiatives including propagating the company’s brand promise ‘Experience Certainty’, transforming internal communications using social media and supporting the company’s inorganic growth initiatives.  He was subsequently elevated to the position of CFO-Global Operations, supporting and overseeing the finance function across TCS geographies and app 40 subsidiaries.

Joining the Tata group in 1991, Vish has held several senior positions in the group companies including Tata Elxsi Ltd and Tata IBM Ltd. He has over three and half decades experience in various industries including Information Technology, Manufacturing, FMCG and Financial Services. Apart from the Tata group, his longest stint was in IBM for over a decade.
