Business Administrator from Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga, holds a Corporate Finance Specialist degree from CESA. Margarita worked for five years in Colpatria Bank, where she served as a Business and Corporate Credit Analyst, and then as a deputy Credit Manager. She worked for the Pension Fund Colfondos, from 2001 until 2013, where she served as a Credit Risk Director responsible for credit risk control of each portfolio managed as well as investments in Private Equity Funds. In May of 2013 she joined BANCOLDEX the Colombian entrepreneurial development bank as Director of the Private Equity Department, where she leads the Bancóldex Capital program, a program design to promote and develop the PE industry in Colombia. She is also a member of the vigilance committees of each of the funds in which Bancóldex Capital has invested. |
